Signal Converters questions
Will a converter change the picture quality?
No. SDI and HDMI carry the same uncompressed signal; a converter changes the connector and electrical format only.
What is NDI?
A protocol that sends video over a standard network. NDI converters let cameras feed a switcher or computer through one Ethernet cable.
Do converters need power?
Most take USB or a 12 V supply, included or sold separately as listed. Some run from the SDI cable or PoE.
