Description
Blackmagic Micro Converter HDMI to SDI 3G is a compact converter for sending HDMI sources into SDI workflows. It suits users who need to connect cameras or computers with HDMI output to SDI monitors, recorders or other production gear. The small, rugged build makes it practical for mobile rigs, studio setups and controlled installations where HDMI and SDI need to work together.
It provides one HDMI input and two 3G-SDI outputs, with selectable Level A or Level B operation. The unit supports up to 1080p60, automatic input signal detection, embedded audio over HDMI and SDI, SDI re-clocking and HDCP 2.2. Power is via USB-C, with low 2 W power consumption and a compact 76.45 x 45.7 x 24.89 mm body weighing 150 g.
In use, it sits between an HDMI camera or computer and SDI equipment such as switchers, monitors or capture devices. It is compatible with macOS 10.14.15 or later and Windows 10 for setup and operation. The box includes the Blackmagic Micro Convertor HDMI to SDI 3G.
