About the Photography range

Filters are organised by type and thread size, so you can move from your lens diameter straight to the options that fit it. Hoya, NiSi and Tiffen cover protection, circular polarisers, solid and variable ND and diffusion. Lenses span native mirrorless mounts and manual cine glass, and each lens page lists the mount, focal length, aperture and filter thread.

Support and power round out the department: Manfrotto, SmallRig and Kupo tripods and heads, flashes and on-camera lights from Godox, and batteries, chargers and cards from Wasabi Power, SanDisk and Lexar. Film shooters will find 35mm and 120 stock from Kodak and Ilford in the Film section.

Photography questions

How do I find the right filter size?

The filter thread diameter is printed on the front of your lens after the ⌀ symbol, for example ⌀67. Filters are listed by that size in millimetres. If you own several lenses, buy for the largest thread and use step-up rings for the rest.

What is the difference between a UV filter and a polariser?

A UV or protector filter is a clear piece of glass that protects the front element and does not change the image on a digital camera. A circular polariser rotates to cut reflections from glass and water and deepen skies, at the cost of about one to two stops of light.

Which memory card speed do I need?

For stills, any UHS-I card marked U3 or V30 is fast enough. For 4K video, look for V60 or V90 SD cards, or CFexpress if your camera has that slot. Each card page lists the write speed and the video speed class.

Are lenses Australian stock with local warranty?

Products are sourced through authorised Australian distribution unless a product page says otherwise, and manufacturer warranties are handled in Australia. See the Warranty page for how claims work.
