Warranty
Your rights under Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Manufacturer warranties
Most products also carry a warranty from their manufacturer. The length and terms vary by brand and product, and where we have the details they are listed on the product page. A manufacturer warranty is in addition to your consumer guarantee rights, not a replacement for them.
How to make a claim
- Email info@electronicaustralia.com with your order number, the product, a description of the fault and photos or video where they help.
- We confirm the next step: in most cases we arrange the assessment and repair or replacement with the manufacturer or its Australian service agent on your behalf, and we tell you where to send the item.
- If the claim is accepted, we repair, replace or refund in line with your rights. We cover return shipping for faulty items.
Faulty on arrival
If a product does not work when it first arrives, tell us within 7 days and we will arrange a replacement or refund.
What warranty does not cover
Damage from accidents, misuse, unauthorised repairs or normal wear is generally not covered by manufacturer warranties. This does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
