Description
The 7Artisans 82mm True Colour VND Filter (2-5 Stop) is a variable neutral density filter for photographers and filmmakers who want to reduce light without changing lenses. It suits work where exposure needs to be controlled in bright conditions, such as wider apertures or slower shutter speeds.
It uses B270 optical glass with a 6061 aluminium alloy frame. The filter offers 2 to 5 stops of light reduction, a 6.4mm frame thickness, and an approximate weight of 53.8g in the 82mm size. Double side multi-layer nanocoating is used to help maintain image quality and colour reproduction.
In use, the filter screws onto compatible lenses with an 82mm filter thread and is adjusted by rotating the ring to change the amount of light entering the lens. It is supplied as the filter only. The 82mm size is intended for lenses that accept 82mm front filters, often with step-up rings if needed.
