About the Lens Accessories range

Start with the exact lens and camera specifications. A front lens cap must match the lens filter thread diameter, such as 49mm or 67mm, while a rear cap must match the lens mount. Lens hoods often use a model-specific bayonet fitting, so check the lens model rather than relying only on brand or focal length. For converters and adapters, compare mount type, optical magnification, crop-factor effect, aperture change, autofocus support, image stabilisation and electronic communication. A 2.0x teleconverter increases reach but can reduce available light and may not suit every lens.

The range is organised by function and compatibility. Lens Caps cover front or rear openings, Lens Hoods help limit flare and protect the front element, and Lens Converters & Adapters change focal length or connect different mounts. Common mistakes include confusing a camera mount with a filter thread, selecting Canon EF-M instead of Canon RF, or assuming autofocus and metadata will pass through every adapter.
