Description
Blackmagic Design Micro Converter SDI to HDMI 3G is a compact signal converter for sending SDI video to an HDMI display or recorder. It suits camera operators, live production setups and anyone needing to monitor SDI sources on an HDMI screen. It also provides a loop output for feeding the SDI signal onward.
It accepts 1 x 3G-SDI input and outputs 1 x HDMI Type A signal, with 1 x SDI loop output for passing the signal through. It supports embedded audio over HDMI and SDI, HDCP 2.2, and SMPTE 259M, 292M, 296M, 424M, 425M-A and 425M-B standards. Power is via USB-C, with a 2.5 W draw.
In practice, it connects an SDI source such as a camera, switcher or deck to an HDMI monitor, projector or television. It works with macOS 10.14.15 or later and Windows 10. The box includes the Blackmagic Micro Converter SDI to HDMI 3G.
