Description
The Blackmagic Micro Converter SDI to HDMI 3G is a compact signal converter for turning SDI sources into HDMI feeds. It suits users who need to connect a camera, switcher or other SDI device to a monitor, projector or television. It also provides an SDI loop output, which helps when you need to pass the signal on to another device.
It accepts one 3G-SDI input and outputs HDMI Type A plus an SDI loop output. It supports embedded audio over HDMI and SDI, HDCP 2.2, and SMPTE 259M, 292M, 296M, 424M, 425M-A and 425M-B standards. It also includes 3D LUT support for calibration or loop output, USB-C power input, and a tally light.
In practice, it is used between an SDI source and an HDMI display, with the loop output available for daisy chaining or monitoring. It works with macOS 10.14.15 or later and Windows 10. The box includes the Blackmagic Micro Converter SDI to HDMI 3G and a power supply.
