Description
Blackmagic Micro Converter BiDirectional SDI/HDMI 12G with Power Supply is a compact video signal converter for rigs that need SDI and HDMI to talk to each other. It suits camera setups, live production, and monitoring workflows where signals need to move in both directions between broadcast and HDMI equipment.
It converts SDI to HDMI and HDMI to SDI at the same time, and supports SD, HD and Ultra HD formats up to 2160p60. Connections include 1 x BNC 12G-SDI female and 1 x HDMI 2.0 female for video in and out, plus USB-C for firmware and power. It also supports embedded audio, HDMI CEC, HDCP 2.2, tally light, camera control, SDI re-clocking and HDMI timecode.
In practice, it pairs with cameras, monitors, switchers and other production gear that use SDI or HDMI. It can be used in both studio and field setups, with USB-C power or the included power adapter.
