Description
The Blackmagic Micro Converter HDMI to SDI 3G with Power Supply is a compact signal converter for sending HDMI sources into SDI workflows. It suits cameras, laptops and other HDMI devices that need to connect to SDI monitors, recorders or production gear. It also handles embedded audio through the HDMI input and SDI outputs.
It provides 1 HDMI 2.0 input and 2 BNC SDI outputs that support SD, HD and 3G-SDI. It supports up to 1080p60 and includes selectable SD/HD Level A or Level B SDI ports. Automatic input signal detection, SDI re-clocking and timecode support are included, along with HDCP 2.2 compliance and USB Type-C power input.
In practice, it is used between an HDMI source and SDI equipment in live production or monitoring setups. It pairs with HDMI cameras and computers on one side, and SDI switchers, routers, recorders or displays on the other. In the box are the Blackmagic Design Micro Converter HDMI to SDI 3G and a 240 VAC power supply.
