Description
The Blackmagic Micro Converter Bidirectional SDI/HDMI 3G is a compact signal converter for camera, monitor and production setups that need SDI and HDMI to work together. It suits users who need to convert in both directions from a small unit, including live production, field monitoring and mixed-format rigs.
It converts SDI to HDMI and HDMI to SDI at the same time, with automatic input signal detection and support for up to DCI 2K60 video. Connections include 1 x 3G-SDI BNC, 1 x HDMI 2.0 input or output, and 1 x USB-C input. Embedded audio is supported over HDMI and SDI. It uses 2.5 W of power and works in temperatures from 0 to 40°C.
In practice, it can sit between a camera, switcher, monitor or projector when a workflow needs one SDI path and one HDMI path. It is suitable with macOS 10.15, macOS 11.1 or later, and Windows 10 64-bit. The box includes the Blackmagic Micro Converter BiDirectional SDI/HDMI 3G and a power supply.
