About the Wireless Systems range

The creator systems here are the ones Australian shooters compare most: RODE for 32-bit float recording and range, DJI for its compact charging cases and phone adapters, Hollyland for price and battery life. Sennheiser and Shure cover UHF and licence-free digital systems for stage and installed use. Every listing states band, channels, range, battery life and what ships in the box.

Wireless Systems questions

Which wireless mic is best for a phone?

Systems sold with a USB-C or Lightning receiver, such as the RODE Wireless Micro, DJI Mic Mini 2 and Hollyland Lark A1, plug straight in. Larger kits like the DJI Mic 3 and Wireless PRO include phone adapters.

What does on-board recording do?

The transmitter records a backup copy of the audio to its own memory. If the wireless link drops or the camera level is wrong, the internal recording saves the take. RODE Wireless PRO and DJI Mic 3 record in 32-bit float, which also survives clipping.

How far do these systems reach?

Creator systems quote 200 to 300 metres line of sight; expect much less indoors or with people between transmitter and receiver. Range is listed on every product page.
