Description
RODE Wireless Micro is an ultra-compact wireless microphone system for recording speech on a phone or other USB-C device. It suits creators who want a small two-person setup for interviews, short videos, vlogging, and direct-to-device recording. The system uses clip-on transmitters with built-in microphones, so it keeps setup simple and reduces cable clutter.
It includes omnidirectional pickup, a 20 Hz to 20 kHz frequency range, and a 135 dB SPL maximum, with 73 dB signal-to-noise ratio and 21 dBA equivalent noise. Wireless range is over 100 m. Each transmitter runs for 6 hours, and the charging case provides two extra charges for up to 18 hours total operation. USB-C connectivity, GainAssist, and integrated windshields help keep levels and handling practical.
In use, the receiver connects by USB-C to compatible iOS 14 and later or Android 11 and later devices. It pairs with smartphones for portable recording and can be carried in the charging case between shoots. The box includes one receiver, two transmitters, one charge case, two furry windshields, one SC22 USB-C to USB-C cable, and two magnetic attachments.
