Description
The RØDE Wireless ME is a compact wireless microphone system with one transmitter and one receiver. It suits creators who need a simple way to capture speech for video, interviews, livestreams and similar recording work. Its small size and included cables make it a practical option for use with cameras, smartphones and computers.
It uses Series IV 2.4GHz digital transmission with 128-bit encryption and a line-of-sight range of up to 200m. Each unit measures 18.3mm long, 44mm wide and 45.3mm high, and weighs 32g. The system runs on an included lithium-ion battery. It is a lavalier system and is built for straightforward plug-and-play use.
In practice, the transmitter can be clipped to a person and the receiver connected to a compatible device for recording audio. It comes with USB-C to Lightning, USB-C to USB-C, 3.5mm TRS to TRS and 3.5mm TRS to TRRS cables, plus two furry windshields and a carry pouch. It also works with RØDE Video and Audio apps.
