Description
The RODE Wireless GO Compact Wireless Microphone System (Gen 3) is a dual-channel wireless mic kit for recording speech and dialogue to cameras, phones, computers and other devices. It suits creators, presenters and interview setups that need two transmitters and a receiver in a small, easy to carry system. Each transmitter has a built-in omnidirectional microphone and can also take an external lavalier mic.
It uses 2.4 GHz digital transmission with 128-bit encryption and a line-of-sight range of up to 260 m. The system records in 32-bit float on-board, includes Intelligent GainAssist technology, and offers USB-C digital connectivity plus 3.5 mm TRRS output from the receiver. The transmitters have a 3.5 mm locking TRS input, a frequency range of 20 Hz to 20 kHz, and up to 7 hours operating time.
In practice, it can be clipped to two speakers, linked to a camera through the included 3.5 mm TRS cable, or connected to a phone or computer through USB-C. It is compatible with macOS 10.15 and above, Windows 10 and above, iOS 14 and above, and Android 11 and above. The box includes a receiver, two transmitters, cables for TRS, USB-C to Lightning and USB-C to USB-C, a charging hub, a carry pouch and three furry windshields.
