For follow focus, compare rod compatibility, drive gear size, adjustment range and whether the unit is single-sided or designed for a specific lens gear.

Compatibility depends on measurements, not just camera or lens brand. Check the lens front diameter, filter thread, clearance around the lens and the mounting standard before ordering. A filter thread size is not always the same as the outside diameter needed for a clamp-on matte box.
