Description
The SmallRig 5163 Modular Follow Focus F60 is a follow focus unit for video rigs, suited to filmmakers who want controlled, repeatable focus pulls. It is designed for use on camera rigs with 15mm support and suits operators who need a compact focus control that is easy to adjust during shoots.
It uses wide-range stepless damping adjustment with a 0.6kgf to 1.8kgf range, zero-backlash sync drive for accurate focus movement, and a 3-step quick switch for reversible rotation. The body measures 132.0 x 85.0 x 67.0mm and weighs 335.0 ± 5.0g. Materials include AL6061, ABS, PC, POM9044, wood, silicone and stainless steel 304.
In practice, it mounts to a 15mm rod system and works with a follow focus gear ring for lens control. It can suit DSLR or mirrorless video setups, depending on the lens and rig arrangement. The box includes the Modular Follow Focus F60, a Φ15mm rod, 15mm single rod clamp, snap-on gear ring, Allen wrench and carrying bag.
