Description
The Tilta Mirage Matte Box is a modular matte box for video rigs that suits operators who want a compact way to control stray light and use filters in front of the lens. It is designed for cine and mirrorless setups that work with threaded front mounts or 95mm front diameter lenses.
It accommodates 4x5.6 filters and the new 95mm circular filters, and it supports variable ND use. The modular design also makes it ready for special FX filters, giving it a flexible setup for shoots that need different filter styles without changing the whole front end of the rig.
In use, it mounts with the supplied adapter rings for 67mm, 72mm, 77mm and 82mm threaded lenses, and it also includes a circular filter tray. The box includes the Mirage Matte Box body, the adapter rings, and a basic soft carrying case, which makes it easier to pack with the rest of a camera kit.
