About the PTZ Cameras range

A pan-tilt-zoom camera is operated remotely from a controller, a computer or a switcher, so one person can run several cameras. Optical zoom range and the output types decide fit: USB for a simple conferencing setup, SDI or HDMI for a switcher, NDI for one-cable network production. Auto-tracking models follow a presenter without an operator.

PTZ or a mirrorless camera for streaming?

PTZ for remote operation, long unattended sessions and multi-camera setups. Mirrorless for image quality with an operator behind it.

What is PoE?

Power over Ethernet: the camera runs from the same network cable that carries video and control, which simplifies ceiling installs.

Do I need a controller?

Most PTZ cameras can be controlled from free software or a web page. A hardware joystick controller is faster for live production.
