Description
OBSBOT Tail 2 is an AI-powered PTZ camera for live production, streaming and studio work. It suits operators who need a camera that can track a person, animal, object or selected zone while handling controlled movement and remote framing. The compact design and battery power make it useful for mobile setups, as well as fixed rigs where flexible camera positioning matters.
It records in 4K at 60fps and 1080p at 120fps, and uses a 1/1.5-inch CMOS sensor with 50 MP effective pixels. Focus uses All-Pixel PDAF. It offers AI Auto Tracking 2.0, 5x optical zoom and 12x hybrid zoom. Connections include HDMI, Ethernet, SDI and USB 3.0. The battery is lithium-ion and is rated for up to 5 hours of use.
In practice, it can be used with a switcher, recorder or streaming setup that accepts HDMI, Ethernet, SDI or USB 3.0. It is suited to production workflows that use NDI, since an NDI licence is included. The box includes the OBSBOT Tail 2 camera and the NDI licence.
