Description
The OBSBOT Tail Air is a compact AI-powered PTZ streaming camera suited to solo creators, small studios and live production setups that need remote framing and simple streaming control. It handles camera work such as subject tracking, zooming and live output in a small unit that can fit into flexible rigs for recording, streaming or multi-camera use.
It uses a 1/1.8-inch CMOS sensor with 8.4 megapixels and an effective resolution of 3856 x 2176, along with a 23mm lens and f/1.8 aperture. Video output is available in UHD 4K and 1080p, with USB-C 3.0 / 3.1 / 3.2 Gen 1 and Micro-HDMI connections. It also supports H.245, H.265 and MJPEG streaming, has 4x digital zoom, PoE support, a tally light and a stereo built-in microphone, plus a 3.5 mm stereo input.
In use, it can be connected to a computer, switcher or networked production setup, and it also suits arrangements where power and data are carried over Ethernet. It pairs with USB-C or HDMI based workflows, and the box includes the camera, USB-C cable, USB-C to USB-A adapter, USB-C male to dual USB-C female splitter, storage case and NDI license.
