About the LED Lights range

COB heads such as the Aputure Storm and amaran series and the Godox SL and ML ranges take Bowens modifiers and become the key light in most setups. Panels sit close to the subject for soft light; pocket and tube lights are for accents, product work and travel. Bi-colour models match daylight and tungsten; RGB models add full colour.

Daylight or bi-colour?

Daylight-only lights are brighter for the price and suit a controlled studio. Bi-colour matches mixed light on location, at some cost in maximum output.

What is a Bowens mount?

The most common modifier mount on COB lights. If a light and a softbox both say Bowens, they fit.

Do these need a power supply on set?

Most include a mains adapter and also accept V-mount or NP-F batteries. The power options and battery draw are listed on each light.
