About NanLite

NanLite's range covers LED monolights and spotlights, colour-adjustable and RGB tube lights, panels, creator lights, modifiers and lighting accessories. The Forza, FC and FS families include COB-style LED fixtures for continuous lighting, while PavoTube products provide tube-shaped lighting for practical effects, accent lighting and colour effects. NanLite also makes softboxes, grids and other modifiers for shaping output. Product features vary by model and can include bi-colour or RGB control, app operation, battery support and wireless lighting control.

Choose the light type and output format for your subject and shooting space. Monolights and spotlights suit focused illumination and can be paired with compatible softboxes or other modifiers. PavoTube lights suit background, practical and effect lighting, with different lengths, colours and kit sizes available. Check each product page for included accessories, mounting options, power requirements and control methods. A grid can narrow a softbox's spread, while a larger softbox generally produces broader, softer illumination. Confirm compatibility before adding modifiers or stands.

NanLite questions

Where is NanLite based?

NanLite is associated with Guangdong Nanguang Photo & Video Systems, whose headquarters are in Shantou, Guangdong, China. The brand produces LED lighting and accessories for photography, filmmaking, video production, broadcasting and content creation.

What is the difference between NanLite bi-colour and RGB lights?

Bi-colour lights let you adjust the colour temperature across the range specified for that model, which helps match daylight or warmer ambient light. RGB or full-colour models provide colour control for effects and coloured illumination. Check the individual product specifications for the available range and controls.

Can NanLite lights use softboxes and grids?

Compatibility depends on the light's mount and the modifier. NanLite sells softboxes, parabolic softboxes and fabric grids for selected fixtures. Check the product specifications for the required mount, adapter and included accessories before choosing a modifier. Electronic Australia lists the compatible details on each product page where provided.
