Description
The RODE NT1 Signature Series Studio Condenser Microphone in Pink is a large-diaphragm condenser microphone for vocals, spoken word and instrument recording. It suits home studios and project studios that want a side-address XLR microphone with a cardioid pickup pattern and low self-noise. It is powered by 48V phantom power and is built for recording work that needs a clear, controlled sound.
It uses a 1.00 inch true condenser capsule and a JFET impedance converter with bipolar output buffer. The frequency range is 20Hz to 20kHz, with 100Ω output impedance, 142 dB SPL maximum handling and 4dBA equivalent noise. Sensitivity is -32 dB re 1 Volt/Pascal at 1 kHz. The microphone has a smooth frequency response and a durable pink finish.
In use, it connects to an audio interface, mixer or preamp with a 3-pin XLR input and 48V phantom power. It is side-address, so placement is simple for vocal takes and close-miked sources. The box includes the NT1 Signature Series Microphone, an SM6 shock mount with pop filter, and a 6m XLR cable.
