Description

The RODE NT1 Signature Series Studio Condenser Microphone is a large-diaphragm cardioid microphone for voice, vocals and instrument recording in a classic XLR studio setup. It suits users who want a side-address condenser with low self-noise and strong headroom for clean recording at home, in project studios or with a mixer and audio interface.

It uses a 1.00 inch HF6 true condenser capsule with a pressure gradient acoustic principle and JFET impedance converter with bipolar output buffer. The frequency range is 20Hz to 20kHz, output impedance is 100Ω, and it runs on P48 phantom power through a 3-pin XLR connection. It has a maximum SPL of 142 dB SPL, equivalent noise of 4dBA, and sensitivity of -32 dB re 1 Volt/Pascal.

In practice, this microphone pairs with an audio interface or mixer that supplies 48V phantom power. The package includes the NT1 Signature Series microphone, SM6 shock mount and pop filter, and a 6m XLR cable. The black finish suits fixed studio use where a durable microphone body and included mounting accessories matter.
