Description
The Audio-Technica ATR2100x-USB is a handheld dynamic microphone for recording voice, podcasting, streaming and live use. Its cardioid pickup helps focus on the sound in front of the mic while reducing room noise, so it suits users who want a single microphone for both computer recording and a conventional microphone input.
It offers USB-C and XLR outputs, a built-in headphone jack with volume control, and on-board on/off control. The mic uses 24-bit A/D conversion and supports sample rates up to 192 kHz. It is a mono, end-address microphone with a built-in windscreen and a single LED power indicator.
In practice, it can connect directly to a computer by USB-C or into an XLR-equipped mixer, interface or recorder. It works with the included mic clip for 5/8-27 threaded stands and the tripod desk stand, plus the USB-C to USB-C cable, USB-C to USB-A cable and XLR cable included in the box.
