Description
The Zacuto VCT Pro Baseplate is a camera support baseplate for cinema, DSLR and mirrorless rigs. It suits operators who want shoulder support and a quick way to move between handheld and tripod setups. The built-in curved shoulder pad and sliding top plate help keep the camera balanced while allowing faster lens changes and rig adjustments.
It includes two quick releasable 6.5-inch rods, two quick-release rod ports at the back, and 25mm of vertical adjustment. The V-wedge tripod connector works with VCT14 tripod adapter plates, and the baseplate can also mount directly to tripod quick release plates using 1/4-20 and 3/8-16 screw holes. An ARRI M6 rosette on the right side and 1/4-20 accessory holes along the side add mounting points.
In practice, it is used as the base of a shoulder rig or tripod-ready camera setup. It pairs with VCT14 tripod adapter plates and other quick release plates that accept 1/4-20 or 3/8-16 mounting. The box includes two quick releasable 6.5-inch rods and one set of removable 1/4-20 and 3/8-16 screws.
