Description
The SmallRig 3357 is a universal camera baseplate for rigs that need 15mm LWS rod support. It suits DSLR and mirrorless camera cages, and it helps mount a camera onto a rig or tripod setup while keeping the system compact and light. It is a practical choice for users building a simple support setup around rods and a cage.
It uses 15mm LWS rod spacing and has two 15mm rod ports on the baseplate. Camera mounting is via 1/4-inch and 3/8-inch screws, and the base includes 1/4-20 and 3/8-16 threads plus an ARRI dovetail clamp for tripod or rig attachment. The aluminium construction keeps the weight to 150 g, with dimensions of 10.8 x 7.3 x 2.5 cm.
In use, it works with the BMPCC 6K Pro Cage 3270 and can also suit other camera cage setups that match the mounting style. It pairs with 15mm rods for accessories such as lens support, follow focus and matte box. In the box are the baseplate, a 1/4-20 screw, a 3/8-16 screw and an Allen wrench.
