Description
The SmallRig CCS2310C is a camera cage for Sony a6500 users who want extra mounting options and protection in a compact rig. It fits around the camera body and suits video work where you need to add accessories without using a full cage system.
It uses a two point locking system with a 1/4-20 screw at the base and an M2 screw on the left side for a stable fit. The cage includes an Arca-Swiss quick-release plate and multiple mounting points, including built-in 1/4-20 threaded holes, ARRI 3/8-16 locating holes and cold shoe mounts. It measures 131.0 x 84.7 x 50.0mm and weighs 138.0 ± 5.0g.
In practice, this cage gives the Sony a6500 a more accessory-friendly setup for handles, microphones, lights and monitors. It is compatible with the Sony a6500 and comes with one cage in the box. The cage is made from aluminium alloy and stainless steel, and its Arca-Swiss base helps when moving between a tripod and other support gear.
