Description
The Rolls DA134 is a 4-channel distribution amp for installation sound and playback systems that need one stereo source sent to multiple outputs. It suits setups where a line-level signal needs to be split, or where a weaker signal needs to be brought up to line level. It is a practical fit for background audio, small commercial systems and source distribution in rack-based setups.
It offers stereo distribution to four outputs, with up to 20 dB of gain and a maximum input level of +12 dBV. The signal path is specified at 10kΩ input impedance and 470Ω output impedance, with a frequency response from DC to 60 kHz, ±1 dB. It also has a signal-to-noise ratio above 90 dB, crosstalk of -70 dB stereo and THD below 0.008%.
In use, it can take signal from a stereo source such as a laptop, tablet or music player and feed multiple destinations at line level. Stereo pass-through allows daisy chaining to another DA134 when more outputs are needed. The box includes the DA134 and a PS27s power supply, and the unit runs from 15 VDC.
