Description
The Portkeys LS7P is a 7-inch on-camera monitor for video crews who need a bright viewing screen, camera control and signal routing in a compact rig. It suits filmmakers, operators and assistants working with HDMI or SDI cameras who want a monitor for framing, focus and on-set adjustments.
It has a 1920 x 1080 display with 10-bit colour depth, Rec.709 gamut, 1000 nits brightness and a 1000:1 contrast ratio. Inputs include 4K30P HDMI and 3G-SDI, with 1080P60 HDMI output and 3G-SDI output. The monitor uses an aluminium alloy body, weighs 409 g, measures 176.2 x 103.8 x 39.3 mm, and has a built-in fan.
In practice, it can be mounted on a camera rig or field setup and used with HDMI or SDI sources that match its input and output formats. Wireless camera control and touchscreen autofocus suit setups where quick changes are needed at the monitor. The box includes the Portkeys LS7P monitor.
