Description
The M-Audio M-Track Solo is a compact 2-channel USB audio interface for recording vocals, guitar, bass, keyboards and other line sources on a Mac or PC. It suits home recording setups, podcasting and simple music production where you need one microphone input, one instrument input and a straightforward way to get sound into a computer.
It offers a combo input with a Crystal preamp, +48V phantom power, a dedicated instrument input and a stereo line input. Audio performance is rated at 20 Hz to 20 kHz frequency response, 109 dB signal-to-noise ratio, 0.003% THD+N, and a preamp EIN of -128 dBu. The mic gain range is 0 dB to +54 dB, the line and instrument gain range is -10 dB to +44 dB, the input impedance is 1 MΩ, and the headphone output delivers 60 mW per channel into 32 Ω.
In use, it connects to a computer by USB and can be paired with a microphone, an electric guitar or bass, or a keyboard or other stereo line source. The box includes the M-Track Solo, a USB-B-to-USB-A cable, software download cards and a user guide.
