Description
The Zoom H6essential is a handheld portable audio recorder for audio-for-video, podcasting, music recording, dictation and transcription. It suits creators who want a compact recorder with built-in stereo microphones and multiple external inputs for field work, interviews or multi-source recording.
It records up to 8 tracks, with 6 inputs plus a stereo mix, and supports 32-bit float recording at up to 96 kHz. The unit has 4 XLR-1/4 inch TRS combo inputs, interchangeable X/Y cardioid condenser microphones, a 2 inch colour LCD, a built-in mono speaker and overdubbing support. It records to microSDXC cards up to 1 TB and saves BWF, iXML and WAV files.
In use, it can work on its own for spoken voice or stereo capture, or with external microphones and line sources through the combo inputs. It pairs with microSDXC media and standard XLR or XLR-1/4 inch TRS sources. The box includes the Zoom H6essential 6-Track 32-Bit Float Portable Audio Recorder.
