Description
The X-keys XK-12 USB 12 Switch Interface is a compact switch interface for users who want contact closure switches to act as USB commands. It suits control setups, accessibility use, and other workflows where footswitches or external switches need to trigger computer actions.
It provides six dual switch ports on 3.5 mm stereo mini jack connectors, with support for two switches per port using optional Y-cables. It accepts mono and stereo-type switch plugs and converts contact closure commands to USB. The unit works with Windows, macOS, Linux and Android systems that support USB HID.
In practice, it connects to a free USB port and can be paired with compatible external switches or footswitches. It is designed to work with any operating system that supports USB HID. The box includes the X-keys XK-12 USB 12 Switch Interface and a software CD.
