The SmallRig 5532 Lightweight Mini Side Handle Kit is a compact side grip for camera cages and rigs. It suits users who want a more secure handheld hold and a handle they can fit to either side of their setup. The ambidextrous shape and 30mm vertical adjustment make it practical for day-to-day video work.
It uses a swift assembly design and offers universal compatibility through the included NATO clamp adapter and threaded adapter. The handle measures 102.0 x 79.5 x 46.0mm with the threaded adapter or 102.0 x 73.4 x 48.2mm with the NATO clamp adapter. It weighs 171.0 ± 5.0g and is made from ABS+PC, aluminium alloy and stainless steel.
In use, it suits cage-based camera and monitor setups where a side handle improves control during handheld shooting. It can be mounted with the NATO rail or the threaded adapter, depending on the rig. The box includes the side handle, NATO clamp adapter, threaded adapter and NATO rail.
