Description
The SmallRig 2837C Shoulder Pad Pro is a shoulder rig base for handheld video shooting, suited to operators who want a steadier setup for shoulder work and fast changes to tripod shooting. It combines a shoulder pad with a rig base and mounting points for camera support accessories. The silicone shoulder pad and metal construction suit regular use with larger camera builds.
It supports Sony VCT-14 quick release baseplates and uses 15mm LWS rod systems at the front and rear. The front rod clamp adjusts vertically by 27mm, the Manfrotto 501 plate slides 80mm forward, and the SmallRig quick release plate slides 120mm backward. It also includes ARRI rosette mounts and 1/4-20 threaded holes for adding accessories.
In use, it works as part of a shoulder rig for cameras that match Sony VCT-14 style mounting and 15mm LWS support. It pairs with shoulder handles and other rig accessories through the ARRI rosettes, and with follow focus or matte box setups on the rods. The box includes one SmallRig 2837C Shoulder Pad Pro.
