Description
SmallRig 2060 Cold Shoe (2pcs Pack) is a pair of cold shoe mounts for building out a camera rig with extra accessories. It suits users who want a simple mounting point for lights, microphones, shoe handles, or other shoe style accessories on cages, plates, or similar supports.
Each mount is made from aluminium alloy and measures 25 x 25 x 9 mm, with a combined net weight of 26 g for the pack. The mount can attach to accessories with 1/4-20 and M2.5 threaded holes, and the centre counterbore accepts a 1/4-20 screw. The design includes secure bevels to help prevent accidental removal, and arrow markings to show the mounting direction.
In practice, it is used to add one or more cold shoe points to a rig, especially on cages, cold shoe blocks, and plates. It is not compatible with flash units that have bottom metal contact points. The box includes 2 x Cold Shoe 1241, 2 x 1/4-20 Screw, 4 x 2.5 Screw, and 2 x Hex Spanner.
