About the Over-Ear range

Closed-back headphones such as the ATH-M50x, RODE NTH-100 and Sony MDR-7506 isolate outside noise and stop the mix bleeding into a microphone, which suits tracking, podcasting and on-set monitoring. Open-back models such as the AKG K702 give a more natural stereo picture for mixing at a desk. Impedance and sensitivity on each page tell you whether a phone or interface drives them properly.

What impedance should I choose?
