Description
The Sennheiser HD 280 PRO is a wired closed-back over-ear headphone made for monitoring, editing and general audio work. It suits users who want a stereo headphone with strong isolation and a foldable, adjustable design for studio or portable use. The headband is padded and the earpieces swivel for easier storage and fit.
It uses dynamic drivers with a 64 Ohm impedance, a frequency response of 8 Hz to 25 kHz and a maximum SPL of 113 dB. The closed circumaural design provides sound isolation of up to -32 dB. It has leatherette cushions, a non-detachable coiled cable, gold-plated 3.5 mm TRS connector and an included 1/4-inch TRS adapter.
In practice, it works with devices that accept a 3.5 mm headphone output, and the included adapter lets it connect to equipment with a 1/4-inch socket. It is a wired headphone with no built-in mic or controls. The box includes the HD 280 Pro headphones and a 1/4-inch adapter.
