Description
The HDfury Arcana eARC Adapter is a signal converter for setups that need to separate video and full audio between an HDMI source and an eARC or ARC sound system. It suits users with a TV, projector or monitor who want to keep picture and send audio to a Sonos Arc, Beam 2 or similar system.
It supports HDMI 2.0b at up to 18Gbps, with HDR, HDR10+, HLG, Dolby Vision, LLDV, eARC, ALLM and IMAX support. Video handling covers up to 4K60 4:4:4 8-bit, 4K60 4:2:2 12-bit, 4K120 4:2:0 8-bit or 8K30 4:2:0 8-bit. It also offers scaling, downscaling, EDID management, HDCP conversion, CEC pass through and RS232 control.
In practice, the unit sits between an HDMI source and the display, with the eARC output feeding a compatible sound system. It can pass full audio up to Atmos over TrueHD from the source to the eARC device, while the HDMI output goes to the display. The box includes the HDfury Arcana eARC Adapter.
