Description
The Tiffen 52mm Circular Polarizing Filter is a screw-in filter for cameras that use a 52 mm front thread. It suits photographers who want more control over reflections, sky contrast and colour in outdoor scenes. The rotating design lets you adjust the effect as you shoot.
It uses glass optics with no coatings and a black aluminium filter ring. The filter factor is 2.3 to 2.8, which is about 1.2 to 1.5 stops of light loss. It has a 5 mm thickness and a 52 mm front accessory thread, so it fits standard 52 mm lens mounts and stays ready for manual rotation.
