The Tamron 28-200mm f/2.8-5.6 Di III RXD is a full-frame zoom lens for Sony E-mount mirrorless cameras. It suits photographers who want one lens for wide scenes, everyday shooting and telephoto reach without changing lenses. The 28-200mm range makes it practical for travel, events and general use, while the f/2.8 to f/5.6 aperture range keeps the lens compact and adaptable.
It covers a 75° 23' to 12° 21' angle of view, focuses as close as 19.05 cm, and offers up to 0.32x magnification. The optical design uses 18 elements in 14 groups, with 7 rounded diaphragm blades for smoother out-of-focus areas. Autofocus is driven by an RXD stepping motor, and the lens has no image stabilisation. It also includes moisture-resistant construction and a fluorine coating.
