Description
The Sony 11mm f/1.8 Lens is a wide-angle prime for Sony E-mount APS-C cameras. It suits photographers and video shooters who want a compact lens for interiors, landscapes, vlogging, and other scenes where a broad view matters. Its 11mm focal length gives a 16.5mm equivalent field of view, with a fast f/1.8 aperture for low light and shallow depth of field.
It has an f/1.8 to f/16 aperture range, 104° angle of view, and a minimum focus distance of 12 cm. The lens uses 12 elements in 11 groups, a 7-blade rounded diaphragm, dual linear AF motors, and internal focus. It weighs 181 g, measures 66 x 57.5 mm, takes 55 mm filters, and has no image stabilisation.
This lens is made for Sony E-mount APS-C bodies. It pairs with compact mirrorless cameras that need a wide fixed focal length rather than zoom flexibility. In the box are the lens, a 55 mm front cap, rear cap, and lens hood.
