Description
The SmallRig 5053 Camera Clip with Quick Release Mount Plate Kit is a compact mounting solution for photographers and videographers who want to attach a mirrorless or action camera to a strap or belt. It suits mobile setups where quick access matters and a secure hold is needed while moving between locations.
It uses a slide-in auto-locking mechanism with single-action release for faster mounting and removal. The Arca-Swiss quick release plate supports omni-directional mounting and tripod use, while the clip offers three adjustable positions to suit different strap sizes. It has a 40kg vertical load rating, measures 88.4 x 40.1 x 29.0mm, and weighs 96.0 ± 5.0g. The body is made from aluminium alloy and silicone.
In use, the clip attaches to a backpack strap, belt or similar support, then pairs with a camera fitted to the quick release plate. It is compatible with mirrorless and action cameras. The box includes the camera clip, quick release plate, and 2 x 1/4-20 screws.
