Description
The NUX B-6 is a wireless microphone system for saxophone players who want a clip-on setup with a separate transmitter and receiver. It suits players needing cable-free movement on stage or in rehearsal while keeping the microphone close to the instrument. The flexible clamp and shock-absorbing gooseneck help position the mic on the saxophone bell.
It works on the 2.4 GHz band and records in 24-bit / 44.1 kHz audio, with a frequency response of 20 Hz to 20 kHz. Latency is under 4 ms and THD+ noise is below 0.2% at 1 kHz and -10 dBFS. The operating range is up to 20 metres line of sight, and the built-in batteries in the transmitter and receiver are rated at 3.7V / 500mA. The power case has a 3000mAh battery.
In use, the transmitter clips to the saxophone and the receiver connects to the rest of the audio setup. It includes three dedicated modes for different saxophone setups. The system works with the supplied gooseneck microphone, transmitter, receiver, storage case and dual pin USB Type-C charging cable.
