Description
The Hoya 62mm UX II UV Filter is a screw-on lens filter for photographers who want everyday front-element protection and UV suppression in a 62mm size. It suits users who keep a filter fitted while shooting and want a simple way to help reduce haze from ultraviolet light.
It uses an anti-reflection coating and a water-repellent coating to help keep the image path clear and make the filter easier to clean. The aluminium frame gives it a solid, lightweight build. It is designed to increase light transmittance while suppressing the UV spectrum, so it can stay on the lens without getting in the way of normal use.
In practice, it fits lenses with a 62mm filter thread and is used in front of the lens as a protective layer. It pairs with cameras and lenses that accept 62mm filters, including setups where the filter can remain in place during regular shooting. The box contains one Hoya 62mm UX II UV Filter.
