Description
The Hosa YPP-117 is a stereo breakout cable for splitting a stereo signal into two mono connections. It suits recording, monitoring and simple audio routing jobs where a 1/4 in TRS output needs to feed dual 1/4 in TS inputs. Its short length keeps runs tidy and reduces cable clutter on a desk or rack.
It has a 1/4 in TRS male connector on one end and dual 1/4 in TS female connectors on the other. The cable is 6 in long, or 152.4 mm, with a black jacket. The mono phone jacks are black and red coded for left and right channels, and it can also be used to adapt mono phone plugs to a stereo phone jack.
In practice, it is used with stereo signals and gear that needs a stereo feed broken out into separate left and right mono paths. It pairs with 1/4 in TRS outputs and dual 1/4 in TS inputs, or with mono phone plugs when adapting to a stereo phone jack. No box contents are listed.
