Description
The Gravity GMAPOP1 is a pop filter for spoken word and vocal recording. It suits podcasters, home studio users and singers who want to reduce plosives at the microphone. The filter mounts on a stand or table edge and lets you place the screen where it is needed without crowding the recording setup.
It uses a 6.2 inch, 157 mm nylon screen with a clamp and screw attachment. The clamp fits widths from 15 to 35 mm, and the arm has a central locking mechanism for all joints so the position can be set and held in place. The construction combines plastic and steel, and the unit weighs 0.5 kg.
In practice, it works with a microphone stand, desk or other surface within the clamp range. It is used with a microphone for recording vocals, speech, podcasts and similar work where plosives can be a problem. The box includes the Gravity GMAPOP1 Pop Filter with VARI-ARM.
