Description
The DJI RS 5 is a three-axis gimbal stabiliser for mirrorless camera setups that need handheld stabilisation and controlled movement. It suits solo creators, videographers and small crews who want smoother footage without a full rig. The 3 kg payload limit and lightweight body make it practical for portable camera builds.
It supports pitch, roll and yaw control with a 360°/s follow speed on all three axes. Mechanical movement covers 360° on pan, 335° on roll and 326° on tilt. The gimbal has a built-in battery rated for up to 14 hours, a one-hour charge time, a fixed OLED touchscreen, Bluetooth 5.1 and 2.4 GHz wireless control, and a 1/4-20 male camera mount.
In use, it works with compatible cameras through the Ronin app and on-camera control functions, while the included USB-C multicamera control cable supports setup with supported systems. The box includes the gimbal stabiliser, quick-open tripod, lens support, screw kit, upper and lower quick release plates, BG33 battery grip, USB-C multicamera control cable and DJI logo sticker.
