Description
The Bright Tangerine KASBAH Ātman Universal Shoulder Rig Kit is a shoulder support system for camera operators who need a stable handheld setup with quick tripod changes. It suits documentary, run and gun, and other shooting styles where the camera moves between shoulder support and VCT-14 mounting. The kit uses the KASBAH Ātman frame with a wide two-axis shoulder pad and a universal BUD plate.
It combines a black aluminium frame with 2x ARRI-standard rosettes, 2x 15 mm rod ports and a 1x BUD dovetail bottom mount. The rig weighs 20.9 oz / 592 g and measures 11.4 x 4.3 x 2.2 in / 29 x 11 x 5.7 cm. The two-axis pad adds fore and aft adjustment, while the VCT-14 mounting kit supports fast attachment to compatible tripod plates.
In practice, the rig is used as a shoulder-mounted base for a camera build, then moved onto a VCT-14 compatible support when needed. It works with the Bright Tangerine KASBAH Ātman Shoulder Rig Frame and includes the shoulder rig frame, wide two-axis pad, VCT mounting kit and universal BUD plate. It is a support system rather than a camera-specific cage.
